Driver Assist Systems (DAS). These camera- and radar-based technologies assist drivers by providing information and acting on environmental data at the front, side and rear of vehicles to help warn drivers of impending danger. They can also provide intuitive cues or actions such as braking and steering inputs to help “coach” the driver to stay in lane or offer convenience functions like Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Collision Mitigation Braking (CMB), Following Distance Indication (FDI), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Lane Centering Assist (LCA), and Lane Departure Warning (LDW).

Responsible for product line Architecture
•Analyses Requirements to develop an Architecture
•Identifies and controls interfaces to external components (sensors, bus, etc)
•Identifies and controls interfaces to internal components (e.g. HW, SW, Mechanics, etc)
•Develops the architecture by describing the behavior and physical elements as well as identification of logical functions
•Defines requirements on subsystems (HW, SW, Mechanics, etc) and interfaces components
•Maps Subsystem elements and interfaces to Requirements and ensures bidirectional traceability
•Checks feasibility and ensures a high reuse/core strategy
•Baseline Architecture for each solid new requirements baseline in cooperation with the Requirements Engineer.
•Presents /Communicated the architecture to the stakeholders and provides training if necessary
•Owns Change Control board for interfaces and elements
•Approves and communicates every change to interfaces and elements

Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or similar discipline
•Open communication skills, speak efficiently and listen to others
•Technical business and product knowledge
•Ability to identify risks and issues and to provide appropriate solutions
•Knowledge of system design methods and modeling tools such as Matlab Simulink, Stateflow and Rhapsody
•Knowledge about supplied system components
•Ability to abstract as well as to recognize dependencies
•Knowledge about HW and SW interfaces, as well as the HW and SW architecture

Must:Doors program,subsystem knowledge,Matlab,Stateflow,Rhapsody
