Working with OEM customers to meet system and vehicle attribute goals for Electric Park Brake Systems.
•Oversee implementation, integration, test, and maintenance of hardware development, caliper design and control algorithms for Electronic Parking Brake technology.
•Interface between algorithm, advanced controls, software, caliper design, caliper development, and vehicle application groups to address system and subsystem issues.
•Conduct regular status meetings with internal component and vehicle development engineers and maintain overall systems and vehicle attribute engineering issues and timing.
•Participate in vehicle development and customer demonstrations including support for vehicle durability and development activities at test tracks.
•Participate in prototype vehicle level static and dynamic sign-offs.
•Generate reports as required and maintain database applications projects. Coordinate EHCU system release at customer and / or software release including resolving engineering issues associated with ECU and vehicle interfaces.
•Support cost saving activities and participate as required in new business hunting activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelor''s degree in electrical or mechatronics engineering. Masters degree preferred.
•Minimum of four years of automotive product engineering experience working in product development with a preferred focus on vehicle braking systems.
•Knowledge of customer application and development requirements, vehicle dynamics and controls, etc.
•Some travel required to support vehicle tests, review supplier plants and customer support.
•Six Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt certification preferred.
